Bobotie (Freshly Frozen)

A classic South African bobotie made by The Poetry of Taste in Oyster Bay — spiced beef mince baked with a golden egg custard topping.

Keep frozen at -18°C.

Serving suggestion: Serve with yellow rice.

Heating instructions (from frozen):

• Preheat oven to 180°C
• Remove lid and cover tray with foil
• Place in centre of oven and bake for 40 min
• Remove foil and bake for a further 10 min
• Check if hot throughout; if not, bake covered with foil for a further brief period
• Take caution when removing the tray and foil as it will be hot
